It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Blue Ribbon and Yellow Rose Carriages, after 41 and 42 wonderful years of serving our beloved community. This decision comes after much consideration, as the world around us has changed in ways that have made it increasingly difficult to continue our business.
Over the decades, we’ve been honored to share in countless joyful moments with families, couples, and visitors who chose to experience the charm and elegance of a horse-drawn carriage ride. From the gentle clip-clop of hooves on cobblestone streets to the magical atmosphere we strived to create with each ride, our mission has always been to offer something unique—an experience of timeless beauty that helped make memories last a lifetime.
However, as the city has evolved, we’ve seen a shift in how people engage with transportation and leisure. With fewer customers seeking carriage rides, and the changing dynamics of our community, it has become increasingly challenging to maintain a sustainable operation. The demands of modern times have left fewer spaces for the tradition of horse-drawn carriages.
We are deeply grateful to all who have supported us over the years—our loyal customers, our dedicated team, and our beloved horses. You’ve all been part of a beautiful chapter in our lives, and we will forever treasure the moments we’ve shared. To our horses, who have been the heart of our business, we love you and you'll always have a special place in our hearts.
We may be closing our doors, but the memories we’ve created together will never fade. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives, and for helping to keep this tradition alive for as long as we did.
With deepest gratitude and fond memories,Blue Ribbon Carriages and Yellow Rose Carriages
